Text description provided by the architect.
Located in Kohuwela, the site is 6.79 perches in area. With limitations of 10 foot setbacks in the front and rear the house has been designed and built on a building footprint of less than 3.5 perches.
The house consists of four Bed-rooms with attached Bathrooms, a Pantry and a Kitchen, open plan Living/Dining, a TV room and Rooftop terrace.
The design utilizes maximum natural light and ventilation achieved by the use of sliding glass windows, routers and a central stairwell core that acts as a climate moderator taking out warmer air from the lower levels through the roof top level thus continuously cooling the building.
