Remember to Breathe

Organized by the Saskia Fernando Gallery, “Remember to Breathe” is an upcoming solo exhibition presented by Copenhagen- based visual artist Shaanea Mendis, and highlights renewal through meditative mark-making. 

Inspired by the artist’s peculiar encounters- ranging from natural phenomena such as patterns on tree barks, to industrial observations including the quite oxidation of metal; her watercolour and hand-knitted sculpture series encounters viewers into a “state of intuitive contemplation”. 

While the exhibition will be on view till 2nd October, the program includes multiple artist-led walkthroughs, which require pre-registration.
