Texture Matters

Organized by the Barefoot Gallery Foundation, “Texture Matters” is an exhibition by Marie Gnanaraj, a renowned Sri Lankan textile designer based in Colombo. This series explores her lifelong journey of over 5 decades of experience through the fascinating medium of textures.

Encompassing of woven works, and structural experiments with various forms; the artist attempts to creatively capture metaphors of life: through both finished and unfinished fragmented art pieces.
